While 1ShoppingCart has gotten more expensive over time, they’re really offering a lot of new features now. The newest addition to the 1ShoppingCart repertoire is the upsell process (and downsells too).

If you’re not familiar with upsells, this term refers to the act of offering an additional product to a customer once he/she begins the checkout process. Downselling is when you sell an additional product after a customer has declined your initial offer. Both of these methods provide the business owner with an extra chance to make a sale.

Upsells, downsells, and cross-sells are what separates you from the competition. You should make sure that you’re utilizing this tool in order to maximize your customer base and product exposure. This is an essential way to advertise your products!
