ManageWP Review - No, not a review, but a real world power user’s opinions.
500+ websites! How do you deal with that?! It’s a management nightmare, but just recently, I started getting all my websites in check. It wasn’t easy, and it’s certainly not cheap, but slowly and surely I am taming this beast. Yes, Google Docs spreadsheets are a must. Yes, accurate SEO stats are critical. Yes, it’s more than a one person job.
However, the tools that’s helping me manage my WordPress sites is pretty spectacular so far. I wish it had been around earlier. It’s called ManageWP (http://www.ManageWP.com) and it’s really helping me get my word-press blogs in order. No, doesn’t help my horde of HTML websites, but really helps with WordPress site management (which is the dirty little secret no one talks about when they tell you to use wordpress to build your sites).
Ya’ see, WordPress takes management. It is not nearly as set it and forget it as say … a regular HTML coded site. Those can sit for years without maintenance. A wordpress site neglected in the same way, will likely become hacked, cease to work, or worse (can you say evil-bot-farm). WordPress is a great system, but with multiple sites, and constant wordpress upgrades (AND theme upgrades AND plugin upgrades), it’s a major management nightmare. It’s a FULL TIME employee at least (even for a few sites). This is especially true with a lot of content and trying to stay on top of SEO. There ya’ have it – the industry secret is now exposed. WordPress requires maintenance (which, honestly, simple HTML sites may not).
ManageWP above allows me to stay on top of all this, at least for wordpress (we’ll deal with domain and HTML sites later). It also has amazing features that are so critical – namely, ManageWP allows me to backup all my sites (set it and forget it), track key SEO statistics, and yes, even clone new wordpress installs. But there’s even more – you can now install plugins in BULK, you can post in bulk, you can even get alerted for site downtime.
Is ManageWP an invaluable tool? You bet it is! I’ve been using it two weeks now, and it’s like being reborn. Day by day, hour by hour, I am going to tame this beat of a business, and get it back under control. This cost, while massive, is one I will gladly pay.
That being said, I tested some other tools along the way too. None were as feature rich, but they sure were a LOT cheaper. Want to hear more about those? Let me know!

Is Kajabi a verb? A noun? What IS Kajabi?

Kajabi, as I’ve stated on my MarketingCrazy Blog Internet Business for crazy people, is a new ecommerce platform, seemingly based on the new video launch model that has been taking over the incestuous internet marketing guru world.
So, why am I impressed? Well, it’s actually a great model that allows you to provide value upfront, and prove your worth, prior to simple salesmanship (ie copywriting and salesletter). I like that idea! It’s a win-win.
Now, what I really like about it is the integration! So, are we going to Kajabi me impressed? I have no idea, I haven’t seen it but in action, and I am eager to look behind the scenes. I’ll be doing that soon, and I’ll be handing over the Kajabi action and kajabi reviews as fast as I can.
Yay, a new platform, offering NEW tools, and hopefully, new EASE in business. What’s not to be hopeful for?
